SUPPLEMENT BUYER GUIDE

Supplement Project Brief Checklist

A clear brief helps the project team identify the most practical sourcing route and reduces avoidable back-and-forth before feasibility and quotation review.

01

1. Target market

Name the country or region where the product will be sold and, where relevant, the intended sales channel.

02

2. Product format

Choose gummies, hard capsules, softgels, tablets, powders or granules, liquid drops, effervescent tablets, patches, or state that the format is still open.

03

3. Desired function

Describe the consumer need and positioning in plain language. Separate the desired concept from any final claim wording that still requires review.

04

4. Quantity estimate

Provide an initial range rather than waiting for a perfect number. This helps distinguish a trial, ready-stock, private-label or custom-development conversation.

05

5. Supporting preferences

Add ingredient direction, serving idea, flavor or sensory preference, packaging reference, channel, timeline considerations and any documentation questions.
